Curriculum and Instructional Supports Workshops (formerly known as Creation & Implementation Labs)

The following workshops are available through FDLRS/East. These trainings are in support of the Brevard District Staff Development Plan. These workshops provide ongoing support and practical application of the core trainings.

NOTE: All of the Curriculum and Instructional Supports workshops count toward the 20-hour ESE training requirement for ALL Professional Certificate Renewals beginning July 1, 2014 (Senate Bill 1108).

To register, sign up on the appropriate ProGOE inservice registration screen AFTER receiving approval from your administrator.

Full Day Workshops
The full-day workshop provides teachers the opportunity to develop materials and visual supports for students use to address academic, social, and communication needs.


Substitute funds WILL be provided. Teachers may attend only ONE full-day workshop during the 2016-17 school year.

  • 12 people maximum per session: Open to elementary teachers with students with disabilities in Grades 1-6 and all ESE teachers.

After School Workshops
The after-school workshop provides teachers the opportunity to develop materials and visual supports for students to address academic, social, and communication needs.

Parent Workshops

What: An opportunity for parents and guardians to create:

·         Materials supporting communication, social/emotional and independent living skills within the home (all ages)

·         Reading/math activities to reinforce academic skills (Pre-K through elementary)
